LAGUNA BEACH, Calif., April 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Healthcare Administrative Technology Association (HATA), the national association representing the practice management system (PMS) industry and other affiliated stakeholders, announced the topics covered at the associations Spring Membership Meeting. Sponsored by AllMeds, the event was held April 12 in Atlanta, and served to update HATA members on strategic initiatives, initiate roundtable discussions, and lay the foundation for the associations advocacy efforts in 2017.
?Last weeks meeting included intense debates about the challenges faced by todays practice management system vendors, said HATA Executive Director, Tim McMullen, JD, CAE. ?Sessions tackled regulatory compliance, value-based care, ASC X12N, prior authorization, marketing strategies, physician engagement and the future of attachments.
