PITTSBURGH, March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to ensure that no child was ever left behind accidentally on a school bus or inside another vehicle," said an inventor from Cleveland, Ohio. "Far too many children die this way each year. To make sure that children everywhere are safe, I came up with this idea."
She created a prototype for the patent pending DRIVER'S COMPANION to warn a driver to check the bus, car, truck, van, etc., for any remaining children left on board before leaving the vehicle. This prevents a child from being left in a vehicle unattended. It is usable with any type of vehicle. The system reduces the risk of hyperthermia and hypothermia, which is designed to enhance personal safety. It offers added peace of mind. Moreover, the invention is adaptable for use with any new or existing vehicle.
The original design was submitted to the Cleveland office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
